After a month of February commemorating the history of Black people, the month of March also honors an essential theme for La Boussole: International Women's Rights Day, observed on March 8. To mark the occasion, special programming will take place on Wednesday, March 5, details of which are given in the next section.
This third month of the year is also an invitation to embark on a roundabout world to reflect on a better way of consuming around 2 workshops. These workshops are made possible thanks to the support of the Société de Développement Economique de la Colombie-Britannique (SDECB) and the Fonds de Développement Economique Francophone du Pacifique (FDEFP).
Our Ensemble thrift store will be present at the 36th edition of the Festival du Bois on the weekend of March 8 and 9.
Our partner Comité FrancoQueer de l'Ouest (CFQO) is organizing a Trivia to learn more about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
We regret to announce that the Circus Play Café is closing its doors for good. An extremely generous donor to our weekly food bank collections, their absence is likely to be felt for some time to come. We warmly thank them for their invaluable support over the years.
Of course, all our usual activities will continue to strengthen ties within our beautiful community.
See you soon at the community center.
