As part of National Francophone Immigration Week, which ran from November 07 to 13, La Boussole had the honor and great pleasure of organizing several activities in the colors of the Francophonie, including a buffet entitled Francophonie aux 1000 saveurs.
This was an opportunity for our members to share recipes that best reflect their culture and origins. On November 08, 12 dishes representing the French-speaking world were tasted. From Quebec to Tunisia, via Madagascar and France, members were able to take a gustatory journey through 20 compiled recipes that are easy for our members to repeat. During this shared meal, which was attended by over 15 participants, a fresco was created on which each member was able to express his or her vision of the French-speaking world. This fresco was brought out again on Wednesday during another activity dedicated to the French-speaking world and its diversity.
