We're back on track with no fewer than 19 activities and workshops this month, including theater classes (improvisation and forum theater), sewing and computer courses, as well as our monthly members' get-together.
This programming always runs in parallel with our individual appointments (daily social benefits, employment appointments, psychological follow-up) and our food support (weekly food banks, food program).
February is also Black History Month, and La Boussole would like to focus on this national initiative.
This month, we're also supporting RésoSanté's 28-Day Challenge initiative, which aims to educate people and encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits that promote the production factors needed to maintain good physical and cognitive health.
Again in partnership with RésoSanté, we're also supporting a new free clinic this month, this time at the Carnegie Community Centre, but giving everyone access to the same health services as the December clinic at 312 Main: HIV, hepatitis C and Covid-19 screenings, flu and coronavirus vaccines, and general medical consultations.
