In this workshop on June 11 at 5:00 pm(free registration here), participants will learn words and definitions through interactive activities and hear the experiences of French-speaking 2SLGBTQIA+ people. The basis of the CFQO workshop program is to enable participants to ask all their questions in a safe place, and to someone with experience in the field. All workshops are presented by a team of 2-3 people. The workshop begins with the facilitator explaining the definitions and terminology of the acronym 2SLGBTQIA+. Next, the facilitator shares tools to explain concepts related to gender identity. Finally, this theory will be used to deconstruct the cultural myths surrounding queer people through role-playing. At the end of the workshop, participants are invited to ask any questions they may have about 2SLGBTQIA+ concepts.
