As summer draws to a close, we're looking forward to seeing you back at the community center, for those of you who have taken the day off. We hope you're well rested, as we've put together a rich program for September, with many special activities.
It gets off to a great start with our back-to-school party on September 9. We look forward to seeing many of you there! Afterwards, we'll be giving a presentation on volunteering opportunities at La Boussole, for those interested in getting involved while still having questions. Then, we'll be showcasing aboriginal culture with a workshop given by Squamish Nation member Spelexilh Dawson, in the run-up to the Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Finally, at the end of the month, we'll take advantage of the autumn weather to unleash our creativity in an eco art therapy session.
