Every year, we innovate to offer a new special project, a unique event, a new partner. These moments allow us to animate the community and showcase its diversity to the general public.

2023: SpectActivism

2022: From Pen to Stage

Following on from the À portée de plume epistolary project, La Boussole is launching De la plume à la scène, a theatrical creation and expression project using texts from letter exchanges between La Boussole members and young teenagers. Excerpts from the letters will be used to create playlets around themes that have particularly come to the fore: nature, discovery, travel or, more generally, a plea for a society with fairer values.

Through the creation of an artistic collective, La Boussole and Notre Visage wanted to reveal the realities experienced by the French-speaking people in precarious situations who benefit from La Boussole.

The aim of this play is to raise awareness among Francophones and Francophiles of the living conditions, concerns, difficulties and, above all, the daily discrimination experienced by Greater Vancouver's homeless population.
