Sophie joined La Boussole as a food distribution volunteer at the end of 2018. She then joined the Board of Directors as secretary, before becoming vice-president. She is now Acting President.

Before arriving in Vancouver 3 years ago, Sophie lived in Italy and Australia. She is originally from France, where she was a Human Resources Manager in the hotel industry. Today, she is pursuing her career in HR and is deeply involved in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She brings her expertise to La Boussole remotely since moving to Montreal in August 2021.
