For the past year, La Boussole has been offering its members a solidarity thrift shop. Run entirely by our volunteers, this project has enabled us to recycle over half a tonne of clothing donated by the community.
Encouraged by the success of this initiative, the team decided to expand the project: acquire equipment to give donations a second life, offer a more qualitative selection to our members and propose a few creations for sale.
Thanks to financial support from the Société de Développement Économique de la Colombie-Britannique as part of the "Fonds de développement économique francophone de l'Ouest - FDÉFO" program, the thrift store will become a social enterprise. Stay tuned for more exciting steps ahead!
