Our food bank volunteers wear the moose skin pins, symbol of the campaign.
With over 400,000 people taking part campaign last year, the initiative, spearheaded by a grassroots movement of Aboriginal men and boys, brings together many people across Canada to support reconciliation and speak out against violence against women and children.
Emblazoned with moosehide pines (a symbol of connection to nature and healing in some native cultures), this day will be an opportunity to raise awareness of this issue through walks, workshops and celebrations across the country. Don't hesitate to come to La Boussole to pick up your pin and show your support for this noble cause!
