One month into 2024 and February is already here!
It's a special month as we celebrate Black History Month. At La Boussole, we're organizing two events in this context, starting with a visit today to the Strathcona district (a neighborhood emblematic of the black community) in partnership with Hogan's Alley Society, followed by a presentation on Vancouver's black community and Haitian culture February 22. This month, we also welcome to our podcast On the HorizonLama from Hogan's Alley Society (more information coming soon).
As for the rest, we'll of course be holding our usual activities, such as dietetic workshops (thanks to the Fonds de Soutien au Tissu Associatif des Français de l'Étranger). the 13, 20 and 27our stretching and breathing or the cosmetics and household products.
But we're already looking ahead to the next few weeks. The month of March requires a great deal of preparation, including International Women's Rights Day and the Maillardville Wood Festival.
