Volunteers play a key role in the history of La Boussole!

Our volunteers are an essential cog in our operation, and we couldn't function as well as we do without their unfailing commitment.

La Boussole was born of the determination of a few people

who wanted to help Francophones in need. In its early years, activities were run exclusively by volunteers. Today, while salaried employees help manage the organization and its activities, the spirit of the founding volunteers is ever-present, and volunteering is a real pillar in the smooth running of our organization.

Volunteering at La Boussole is an act of solidarity and commitment to others: sharing is very important.

Our members' involvement in the community is very important to La Boussole.

Being a volunteer at La Boussole is an act of solidarity and commitment to others: sharing is very important. It's also about sharing moments of conviviality and life, creating links, getting involved in a cause that speaks to you or, for some, giving back to others what you've received elsewhere.

To thank our volunteers for their involvement, we've also set up the Challenge Solidaire, in which they can register and convert their volunteer hours into points. These points enable them to claim prizes provided by our partners, whom we would also like to thank for their support!

VOLUNTEERS PAST AND PRESENT :

Let's build an alumni network together with LA BOUSSOLE ALUMNI

The history of our organization is made up of many people with a common desire to improve the situation of francophones in the province. To celebrate these 30 years, we wanted to bring them together, at least virtually, and hear their stories.

Do you know one or more people who have contributed to the history of La Boussole? Share our questionnaire with them to keep in touch.
