A play based on epistolary exchanges

Following on from the À portée de plume letter-writing project, La Boussole is launching De la plume à la scène, a theatrical creation and expression project using texts from exchanges of letters between La Boussole members and teenagers. In these texts, where anonymity is preserved, words are set free, bonds are forged and trust is born. Always tinged with kindness, the letters tackle both everyday themes and more difficult subjects.
Looking for our acting troupe
La Boussole is recruiting community members - aspiring actors or experienced actors - who want to bring the exchange of letters to life and learn more about playwriting, directing and acting.
Stage professionals will lead the various workshops, guiding project participants through the process of writing, creating and performing, right up to the final performance in March.
People taking part in this project must therefore be present at the proposed workshops and the final performance.
Playlets committed to social and environmental justice
Extracts from the letters will be used to create playlets around themes that have particularly come to the fore: nature, discovery, travel or, more generally, a plea for a society with fairer values.
These sketches will be immortalized in a vignette, then broadcast on the media of La Boussole and its partners. They will also be performed at a show to be held during Francophonie month, an important theme in the exchanges and one that will be highlighted by this project.
